Waste Disposal Sites and Information
NOTE - Please do not leave your waste/recyclables at the transfer sites before hours of operation. Doing so will jeopardize the Township's Ministry of Environment Certificate.
Garbage Bags with ‘Township Stickers’ are accepted at Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre, Berndt Road Transfer Site and Shaw Woods Transfer Site. Township Stickers can be purchased from the Township Office, Berndt Road Transfer Site or at Shaw Woods Transfer Site for $1.00 a Sticker.
HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES, CELLPHONES AND RECHARGABLE BATTERIES are now accepted at the Transfer Sites.
SHAW WOODS & BERNDT ROAD SITES ARE CLOSED ON ALL PUBLIC/CIVIC HOLIDAYS.
